HT Day

This exercise is purposed to help integrate new operators into Emergency Communications, and to show the value that an HT brings to the team and the operation.

If a ham, regardless of equipment owned or license class, has a desire to help with Emergency Communications, they should not be turned away for those reasons. Instead, said ham should be provided the opportunity to train and given proper support. This will help develop the skills needed in order to help in an actual emergency.

The exercise will be taking place Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM EDT. Further details, including preparation exercises and a sign up sheet, can be found here.
