Astronaut Traffic Whitepaper Released: See How Your Messages Made It To NASA!
Post date: Jul 19, 2020 1:04:03 PM
ARRL North Texas Section Traffic Manager Aaron Hulett K8AMH recently ran a project where he accepted congratulatory radiograms on behalf of astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley. COTN advertised the project and moved some traffic as part of the project. Now that the project has been completed, Hulett has released a white paper discussing the project, and it helpfully includes a copy of all of the traffic he received.
If you submitted or handled a message as part of this project, please check out Astronaut Traffic Whitepaper to get more information about how the project was completed. Find your message(s) and see how they came out. Are there errors? Did they take inordinately long to arrive?
Take advantage of this opportunity to see how we as a system of traffic handlers did in getting the traffic from one place to another. Find what worked, see where we need to improve, and go about our business showing that we've learned the lessons this opportunity has taught us. Prepare your notes and we'll discuss this in the upcoming monthly training videoconference, to be held on the second Thursday of the month, August 13, 2020.
