Daylight Savings Time
On Sunday, November 6, we turn our clocks back 1 hour at 2am local time. It gets us an extra hour for the weekend, but there are some things to remember.
For those who keep track of ham activities in Zulu time, this time does NOT adjust for Daylight Savings. This means we will be GMT -5 instead of -4. Since the Central Ohio Traffic Net meets at 7:15 local time, this will change the Zulu time from 2315 to 0015 the following day. By that rule, we will be losing a check-in for the month, as the November 30 evening net will occur on December 1.
