September Meeting: SET Planning

The Central Ohio Traffic Net (COTN) will once again participate in the annual Simulated Emergency Test (SET). We'll be participating in the BLACK SWAN 18 scenario and have a critical role this year, receiving TEST PRIORITY traffic for the Ohio EMA station W8SGT as it comes to Columbus from all over the state. We'll then be relaying the traffic to W8SGT via VHF.

Incoming traffic will be coming in through the section nets, and DTN. We're also expecting some Winlink traffic.

Making this work is going to require some planning and coordination. Please join us at Franklin County Emergency Management & Homeland Security, 5300 Strawberry Farms Blvd in northeast Columbus on Thursday September 13. We'll start gathering about 1800 and get the meeting started at 1830.

Looking forward to seeing you!
