Mixed Mode Traffic Handlers Wanted

posted May 8, 2020, 4:09 AM by C. Matthew Curtin
The Buckeye Net is looking for mixed-mode traffic handlers and net control operators for an exercise to be held 30 May.

If you're able to use fldigi and flmsg as well as voice, are able to operate effective on 75m SSB and 80m digital with modes such as OLIVIA and MT63, and are willing to commit to training and practice sessions leading up to the exercise, we want to hear from you. If you're also capable on the Winlink radio email system, that's a big bonus.

Details are few but there will not be time to wait to see all of what's going to happen—we won't actually know until play is over, kinda like a real emergency—so it's important that if you want to be an effective relay or net control station that you commit to train and practice, then to operate. We'll work with everyone to cover as many people in as many sessions as possible.

If interested please send a radiogram to KD8TTE BEXLEY OH 43209 or email to kd8tte@arrl.net.
