Agenda for Tonight's Training (COTN Module 1)

This evening, Central Ohio Traffic Net will gather at Franklin County Emergency Management & Homeland Security for monthly in-person training. We will present Module 1: Introduction to NTS and Public Service. The training will be presented by COTN Net Manager Matthew Curtin KD8TTE.

What to Bring

For this evening's training, be sure to bring:
  1. Notebook and writing instrument
  2. Radiogram forms (we will have extras but the more you bring the better; if you don't have a pad of them from the League, you can download and print the Radiogram form from our web site.)
  3. Your HT if you have one

 1800 Gather at FCEMHS, 5300 Strawberry Farms Blvd (see map below)
Upon arrival, come to the front door. Ring the bell if it is locked and no one is there; someone will come to let you in. Advise that you've come for COTN.

  Presentation of What is the National Traffic System and Traffic Handling
  Exercise: Originating traffic
 1915 All stations check in to regularly-scheduled session of COTN
Exercise: Relaying traffic
 2000 Conclusion of formal session; informal practice may continue
