Amateur Radio Preparing For the Worst

posted Mar 15, 2016, 9:44 AM by C. Matthew Curtin
Our sister service, Amateur Radio Emergency Service, just got some good coverage in The Atlantic. This shows not only a good introduction to what amateur radio can do in an emergency, but the value of participating in training events. Not only does participation make and keep skills sharp, but it helps to make the kind of connections that will need to be drawn upon when our communities need us most.
